The Maneuver Combat Vehicle (MCV) is a Japanese wheeled tank destroyer expected to enter service in 2016, the prototype built 2014. The vehicle is a response to the cut back on main battle tanks in Japan and is expected to be easily and quickly transportable to islands for defense.
